CRM Assistant
Application Deadline: 27 September 2026
Department: Commercial
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Manchester
Description
The CRM Assistant is a hands-on role within the CRM team, supporting the execution of CRM activity across our channels for our global audience. The team broadly works across database growth, channel execution, customer understanding, and loyalty. This is a role for someone early in their CRM career who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how great retention marketing is delivered. You'll be given the guidance, templates, and support to succeed in the job and you'll grow your confidence and independence over time as part of a small, ambitious team with big plans.
What You’ll Do
- Use the team's core CRM systems accurately to complete day-to-day tasks across channels, loyalty, reviews, event management, and survey tools.
- Build and execute simple, localized campaigns by following briefs and using approved templates and brand guidelines.
- Follow the QA process accurately on every campaign, flagging obvious issues such as broken links, missing personalization, or localization errors before they go live.
- Follow the CRM campaign calendar, attend planning meetings, and input ideas for future activity.
- Support the health and growth of the CRM database, flagging any missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate data and assisting on acquisition drives.
- Work across the loyalty scheme by building your understanding of the Adanola Rewards Club, QA-ing its journeys, and carrying out tasks with support (e.g., set up of promotions).
- Follow compliance rules correctly in everything you execute.
- Produce accurate reports from agreed templates and begin to add the 'why' behind the trends being seen.
- Summarize customer feedback from reviews and simple survey results, applying the insights and test learnings you're given to future campaigns.
- Attend relevant stakeholder and vendor meetings, taking accurate notes and following up on actions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
