Please note, this is a talent pool advertisement, not a live role. If you would like to be considered for any future CRM Campaign Manager / Marketing Manager positions at DEPT®, please submit an application and we will be in touch when a suitable opportunity arises.
Job Purpose
We are always on the lookout for new talent. Whether you're looking to kick-start your campaign management career, are a hands-on CRM specialist, or a seasoned Marketing Manager with campaign strategy and leadership experience, we would love to hear from you.
As part of our embedded in-house model, you will be employed by DEPT® but embedded within our Client’s team. From your day-to-day responsibilities, collaborations and deliverables, you’ll operate directly within the client team, allowing for the best of both worlds: the close-knit feel and impact of working in-house, alongside access to the benefits, opportunities and support that DEPT® offers.
You will bridge the gap between marketing strategy, end-to-end multichannel campaign delivery, and AI innovation. Sitting at the intersection of campaign strategy, CRM execution, marketing technology, and creative production, you will be responsible for how the client presents itself to customers across owned channels (email, push, onsite, in-app, landing pages). Depending on your level, you will manage campaign plans, build and QA CRM workflows, optimise cross-channel engagement, and leverage cutting-edge AI tools to scale personalisation and elevate performance.
What You’ll Do
- Translate business propositions and consumer insights into inspiring, end-to-end multi-channel campaign plans across owned channels (onsite, web, app, email, push).
- Manage, build, and deploy CRM campaigns from briefing and creative development to QA, execution, and post-campaign analysis.
- Actively explore and apply AI tools and prompt workflows to accelerate content generation, creative ideation, dynamic personalisation, and campaign testing.
- Lead creative asset development across channels, ensuring brand consistency, high-quality execution, and rapid iteration for A/B testing.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to clarify questions, manage expectations, and maintain briefing deadlines.
- Optimise campaign personalisation, audience targeting, and segmentation to maximise engagement and commercial performance across customer segments.
- Design, test, and analyse A/B testing frameworks and real-time channel metrics to deliver actionable post-campaign insights.
- Troubleshoot technical campaign setups (data accuracy, dynamic tags, targeting logic, link rendering) to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
- Maintain an understanding of Client brand, strategies, and customer segments to act as a trusted creative adviser and brand guardian.
- Ensure responsible AI usage across workflows, prioritising data privacy, output validation, and continuous process optimisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
