About The Role

If you're passionate about customer communication and data-driven marketing, this is an opportunity to help shape how we engage with millions of customers across our retail and veterinary brands.

Reporting to the CRM Manager, you'll support the delivery of compelling, targeted CRM campaigns that connect customers with the products, services, and advice they need. Using customer insights to inform campaign activity, you'll help create personalised communications that strengthen engagement, support trading priorities, and build long-term customer loyalty.

You'll also support the smooth running of CRM operations, taking ownership of tasks such as voucher setup and testing, purchase order management, customer queries, and competition administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of targeted CRM campaigns across multiple channels, from testing and optimisation through to full deployment.
  • Help create relevant, personalised customer communications that drive engagement and support commercial objectives.
  • Work closely with marketing, trading, commercial, clinical and analytics teams to translate business priorities into effective customer activation plans.
  • Support the development and execution of the customer contact strategy, ensuring communications are timely, relevant and aligned to business goals.
  • Use customer insight, campaign performance and analytics to identify opportunities and shape future CRM activity.
  • Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver joined-up campaigns and consistent brand messaging.
  • Support testing initiatives by helping define requirements, track performance and evaluate results.
  • Manage CRM administration activities, including voucher setup and testing, competition management, purchase orders, data briefs, campaign proofing, and customer query resolution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

About You

You'll have a good understanding of marketing principles and customer-focused communications, with a genuine interest in understanding what drives customer behaviour. Whether through campaign performance, customer insights, or testing and optimisation, you'll enjoy getting under the skin of the customer journey to deliver relevant and engaging experiences.

A strong team player, you'll build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business and be comfortable working with agency partners. You'll be highly organised, detail-oriented, and happy to roll up your sleeves to support campaign delivery, from proofing content and coordinating activity to ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Experience of working with CRM or email marketing platforms would be advantageous, although a willingness to learn, develop new skills, and embrace new technologies is just as important. You'll be joining a team with plenty of opportunity to grow, take on additional responsibility, and gain exposure to both the fast-paced world of retail and the unique challenges of a healthcare-focused veterinary business.

If you're excited by innovation, creativity, and the opportunity to work on campaigns that support pets and the people who love them, you'll fit right in. With a varied roadmap of projects, agency collaboration, and continuous development opportunities, this is a role where you can make a real impact while building your career.

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you
