We're looking for a commercially-minded CRM Insight & Data Planning Manager to lead how customer data, insight and measurement drive CRM performance across the customer lifecycle.
This is a highly visible role where you'll sit at the heart of our CRM strategy, partnering with Marketing, Commercial, Finance and Data teams to turn customer insight into business growth. You'll be responsible for ensuring CRM decisions are informed by robust data, meaningful analysis and clear performance measurement, helping us maximise customer value, improve retention and identify new opportunities for growth.

What you'll be doing
Role overview:
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Lead CRM insight and data planning, using customer and commercial performance data to shape audience strategies, lifecycle planning and campaign optimisation.
- CRM measurement and reporting, developing KPI frameworks that clearly demonstrate CRM's impact on revenue, customer value, retention and commercial performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, conversion and loyalty through actionable insight and performance analysis.
- Partner with CRM, Commercial, Finance and Data teams to support strategic planning, forecasting, investment decisions and business cases.
- Champion best practice in customer data management, governance and compliance, ensuring the effective and responsible use of customer data.
- Drive innovation in CRM analytics and reporting, exploring new technologies, self-service insight tools and AI-driven approaches to improve decision-making and efficiency.
- Act as a trusted expert and advisor, translating complex data into clear recommendations that influence stakeholders at all levels.

You'll bring a blend of CRM expertise, analytical capability and commercial curiosity, alongside the confidence to influence business decisions through insight.
You will need:
- Significant experience within CRM, customer insight, analytics or data planning.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, CRM performance management and audience strategy.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar.
- Proven ability to analyse complex data sets and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience designing KPI frameworks, performance dashboards, attribution models or forecasting methodologies.
- Strong understanding of data governance, GDPR and customer consent management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Experience using analytics and data platforms such as Databricks, Google Analytics, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.
- Experience within mobile, telecommunications, retail, e-commerce or subscription-based businesses.
- Exposure to AI-driven analytics, predictive modelling or advanced customer insight techniques.
- Experience leading data or reporting transformation projects.

Qualifications
- Degree educated or equivalent professional experience.
- Typically 5+ years' experience in CRM, customer insight or data planning.
- Alternatively, 3+ years in a dedicated Insight or Analytics role with strong CRM and customer lifecycle expertise.
