PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The CRM Intern will play a key operational and creative role in supporting the CRM & Clienteling team to drive engagement, commercial performance, and client loyalty for Guerlain UK.
Working closely with the CRM Manager and Coordinator, the CRM Intern will take a hands-on approach in supporting the deployment of Guerlain UK’s e-newsletters, to evolve Email and SMS communications and meet the channel’s commercial targets. The CRM Intern will also assist with the day-to-day operations of the omnichannel Guerlain&You Loyalty Programme.
The role will suit someone who is highly organised, passionate about direct marketing communications and enjoys being hands-on in executing projects from briefing through build, to the deployment stage.
The ideal candidate will be motivated to get involved in operational yet creative tasks and be tech-savvy, willing to learn and adopt the use of various tech platforms. Good communication and collaboration skills are also essential to successfully manage projects involving internal Guerlain UK departments, Central Guerlain teams in France and external suppliers. Most importantly, they will be passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience in an iconic luxury beauty brand.

Job Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
Communications
- Support the CRM & Clienteling Manager and Coordinator with the delivery of the Email Communications Calendar:
- Prepare email campaign briefs, adapting global assets to suit the UK market context
- Use the email creative tool Dartagnan to update email creatives, managing workflow from briefing, to approvals, proofing, to deployment
- Work with communications agency supporting with Adobe Campaign to broadcast emails
- Report on email campaigns’ performance using Google Analytics and Power BI
- Competitor and email trends analysis (ad hoc)
Loyalty Programme
- Assist the CRM & Clienteling Manager with day-to-day operations to deliver an excellent client experience of the Loyalty Programme in-store and online
- Manage weekly loyalty gift orders, CRM loyalty stock inventory and track deliveries to support Retail team with loyalty programme in-store
- Handle customer queries from Client Services/Retail team/Ecommerce and respond promptly
Clienteling Projects Support
- Assist CRM & Clienteling Manager with Clienteling campaigns, including deployment of tailored gifting agenda for top clients

Profile
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Key Competencies/Technical Skills
- Highly competent in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Adept at learning and using new digital platforms (Dartagnan, JustRelate)
- Experience with Adobe Campaign desirable but not mandatory
- Strong language and communication skills
- Client-centric mindset (previous CRM / customer services / retail experience desirable but not mandatory)
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Profile
- Experience in/ aptitude for operational tasks (logistics, client relations)
- Demonstrable knowledge of luxury industry, interest in CRM
- Highly organised and solutions-oriented, with exceptional eye for detail
- Proactive, adaptable, resilient
- Previous experience in CRM / Email Marketing desirable, but not mandatory
- Fluent in English
