The Role: CRM Manager

Location:
Hybrid (UK-based remote working with occasional travel required to Manchester, Derby, and other store locations across the UK. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship).
Contract Type:
Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for 12 months.
Hours:
37.5 hours per week
As the CRM Manager, you will be responsible for leading Motorpoint's customer engagement strategy across CRM and Agentic AI, delivering personalised customer experiences that drive lead generation, retention and customer value.
Managing communications across email, SMS, WhatsApp, direct mail, transactional messaging and AI-powered interactions, you will work across all areas of the business.
You will be responsible for customer lifecycle management, database growth and health, engagement performance, reporting and insight generation, whilst driving continuous improvement through automation, personalisation and AI-led customer journeys.

Leading a CRM team of 3 people and working closely with external technology partners, you will ensure we continue to deliver industry-leading customer experiences while identifying new opportunities to utilise CRM and AI across the business.
What will you be getting up to?
- Own and manage our Bloomreach Engagement platform, including segmentation, personalisation, campaign deployment, journey orchestration and reporting.
- Own and manage our Agentic AI platform (Conversica), driving performance across existing AI agents whilst identifying and implementing new use cases that improve customer experience, operational efficiency and commercial outcomes.
- Plan, deliver and optimise customer communications across email, SMS, WhatsApp, direct mail, transactional messaging and AI-powered interactions.
- Lead the development and ongoing optimisation of Motorpoint's VIP customer programme and wider retention strategy.
- Own customer database health, ensuring strong deliverability, high engagement rates, effective list hygiene and compliant data management practices.
- Drive database growth through web layers, preference management and customer opt-in activity.
- Own CRM and Agentic AI reporting, providing actionable insight and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
- Manage a team, providing coaching, support, and development opportunities whilst conducting all people management responsibilities.
- Manage relationships with key technology and partners, ensuring platforms and suppliers continue to deliver against business objectives.
- Identify and implement new opportunities for automation, personalisation, customer engagement and AI-driven customer experiences across the Motorpoint customer journey.

What do we need from you?
- Experience with Bloomreach Engagement and potentially other eCRM providers.
- Management experience
- Familiarity with reporting using a range of analytics tools such as GA4
- Experience using and managing an Agentic AI agent / process / tooling
- Experience with key CRM channels like email, SMS, WhatsApp etc but also non-digital CRM programmes like direct mail.
