About ATHX

ATHX Games is one of the fastest-growing functional fitness event companies in the world, delivering a high-intensity and immersive hybrid fitness experience that challenges and inspires athletes across all abilities. With a headline partnership with adidas, 20 events in 2026, and over 40 global events planned for 2027, we are building something genuinely world-class.

This is a brand built on community, energy, and genuine athletic ambition - and CRM is central to how we keep athletes engaged, coming back, and bringing their friends along with them.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced CRM marketer to take ownership of our campaign function across email, SMS, and WhatsApp for a fast-scaling global brand. As CRM Manager, you will report to the Head of CRM and take full ownership of campaign strategy and delivery - planning, building, QA-ing, and sending across email, SMS, and WhatsApp - for our athlete community, from event announcements and promotions to milestone moments and re-engagement pushes. You'll also share hands-on responsibility for our automated lifecycle flows and journey-building alongside the Head of CRM.

You'll need strong campaign judgement, a sharp eye for detail, and the confidence to make calls independently as you keep multiple sends and projects moving across channels without anything slipping through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Delivery

  • Build, schedule, QA, and send one-off and recurring campaigns across email, SMS, and WhatsApp using Klaviyo.
  • Own the CRM campaign roadmap and calendar, translating quarterly marketing and events priorities into a structured, prioritised send plan across email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
  • Define segmentation and targeting strategy for each send, briefing the wider team on creative and copy needs to ensure the right message reaches the right athletes at the right time.
  • Own end-to-end QA and final sign-off of every campaign - links, personalisation, rendering across devices, and compliance - before it goes live.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve send issues independently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Independently shape copy and creative for each campaign, working closely with the wider marketing team throughout.
  • Work with the events team to ensure campaign timing and messaging reflect the live events calendar, flagging opportunities proactively.
  • Share ownership with the Head of CRM of the maintenance and evolution of existing and new automated lifecycle programmes, taking the lead where agreed.

A/B Testing & Experimentation

  • Own the A/B and multivariate testing calendar for campaigns - subject lines, send times, content, and creative - across email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
  • Set up tests correctly in Klaviyo, ensuring clean, statistically sound splits and success metrics that align to the wider CRM strategy.
  • Analyse test results and turn them into clear recommendations, owning and evolving a growing playbook of what works for the ATHX audience.
  • Continuously apply test learnings to future campaigns, raising engagement and conversion rates over time.

Reporting and Optimisation

  • Track and report on campaign performance (opens, clicks, conversions, unsubscribes) across all three channels.
  • Share performance trends and learnings with the Head of CRM and wider marketing team, helping shape future campaign and lifecycle strategy.
  • Generate athlete and market insights from CRM data for wider distribution across the business.

Lifecycle & Automation

  • Share hands-on ownership of automated journeys (athlete onboarding, retention, win-back) with the Head of CRM, building and maintaining flows directly in Klaviyo.
  • Take on increasing ownership of specific flows and journeys over time, with full autonomy to test and optimise them, as the CRM function and team grow.
