We're working with a fast-growing consumer business to recruit a commercially minded CRM Manager to take ownership of its CRM strategy and drive the next stage of customer growth.

This is a hands-on role with genuine autonomy, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced SME environment and wants to make a measurable commercial impact.

You'll lead CRM across email, SMS, and WhatsApp, using customer insight, segmentation, personalisation, and testing to improve retention, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value. You'll also manage and develop 2 CRM Executives.

The Role

  • Own and develop the overall CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy
  • Lead the email marketing programme and automated customer journeys
  • Develop and grow SMS and WhatsApp as CRM channels
  • Drive segmentation, personalisation, and testing
  • Use customer data and insight to identify commercial opportunities
  • Track and improve revenue, retention, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value
  • Own CRM reporting, performance, and measurement
  • Ensure strong deliverability, consent management, and GDPR standards
  • Work closely with Marketing, Creative, and E-commerce
  • Line manage and develop 2 direct reports
  • Build scalable CRM processes as the business continues to grow

About You

We're looking for someone with 3+ years' experience in CRM, lifecycle, or email marketing, ideally within e-commerce or a consumer-focused business. You'll have:

  • Proven experience using CRM to drive revenue, retention, and repeat purchase
  • Strong experience across email marketing, automation, segmentation, and testing
  • Experience with SMS and/or WhatsApp
  • Experience with a CRM or marketing automation platform; Bloomreach would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring a team
  • The ability to work at pace and take full accountability for CRM performance
