CRM Manager - Contract

Retail Client

Location: London
Working Hours: 2-3 days per week on-site
Pay: £400-£430 per day - Outside IR35

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business undergoing a major customer marketing transformation. You'll take ownership of a high-profile CRM platform migration, helping to shape the future of how the organisation engages with customers across email, SMS, push notifications, WhatsApp and other digital channels.

The Company

They are a well-known consumer-facing organisation investing heavily in customer engagement, marketing technology and data capabilities. With multiple transformation programmes running simultaneously, they are modernising their CRM ecosystem to support more personalised, multi-channel customer experiences. Having recently selected a new marketing automation platform and customer data platform, they are now looking for an experienced CRM Manager to drive delivery of a critical migration programme.

The Role and Deliverables

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of a CRM platform migration from Emarsys to Klaviyo, ensuring successful execution across all phases of the project
  • Act as the key link between senior stakeholders, marketing teams, technology teams and vendor delivery partners
  • Manage migration scope, priorities, dependencies, risks and milestones, ensuring business objectives remain on track
  • Translate strategic requirements into clear feature definitions and support the creation of delivery-ready requirements and tickets where needed
  • Collaborate with technology teams on platform integrations, data migration activities and the implementation of a new customer data platform
  • Support governance, stakeholder communications and decision-making throughout the transformation programme while maintaining continuity of critical marketing activity

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience delivering CRM or marketing automation platform migrations
  • Proven ability to manage product roadmaps, delivery plans and complex stakeholder environments
  • Deep understanding of CRM, marketing orchestration, customer journeys and lifecycle communications
  • Experience working with marketing teams, technology teams and third-party vendors to deliver large-scale platform implementations
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear product features, user stories and delivery outcomes
  • Strong communication skills, with experience engaging both technical teams and senior leadership
  • Experience with Klaviyo is a must
  • Knowledge of customer data platforms, CRM integrations, Emarsys, Braze or Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be beneficial
