Leicester City Football Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults at risk of harm, and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment.

Data Marketing Executive (12-Month Maternity Cover)

Leicester City Football Club

Location: King Power Stadium, Leicester

Contract: Fixed Term, 12 Months (Maternity Cover)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

Turn Data Into Match-Winning Insights

At Leicester City Football Club, every supporter interaction tells a story. We're looking for a passionate, analytical and commercially minded Data Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team on a 12-month maternity cover contract and help shape how we connect with hundreds of thousands of fans.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a Premier League football club, using data, insight and technology to drive fan acquisition, engagement, retention and revenue growth. If you love turning complex data into meaningful actions, creating targeted marketing campaigns and uncovering insights that influence business decisions, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

As our Data Marketing Executive, you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining the Club's data infrastructure, helping us better understand our supporters and deliver personalised experiences across multiple channels.

From building audience segments and managing automated communications to creating impactful reports and supporting commercial partnerships with powerful insights, your work will directly influence how the Club engages with fans and grows its reach both locally and globally.

No two days are the same. One day you might be building a customer journey campaign, the next you could be analysing supporter behaviour, developing Tableau dashboards or identifying new opportunities to grow our fan database.

What You'll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Developing audience segmentation strategies to support marketing, commercial and fan engagement objectives
  • Creating and maintaining targeted fan communications through email, SMS and automated customer journeys
  • Building and managing data integrations, data flows and database health processes
  • Producing actionable insights and presenting recommendations to stakeholders across the business
  • Designing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reporting frameworks
  • Conducting analysis to drive supporter acquisition, engagement, retention and revenue growth
  • Supporting the creation of data-led partnership and sponsorship opportunities
  • Managing customer data queries and working closely with Supporter Services and third-party providers
  • Developing surveys, market research and customer feedback initiatives
  • Supporting consumer lifecycle planning, persona development and customer journey mapping
  • Ensuring data governance, GDPR compliance and the integrity of all Club data sources

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
