Job Title
To support the planning, delivery and optimisation of customer and prospect communications across our CRM and marketing automation platforms. This role is suited to someone with previous experience, focused primarily on email marketing, client journeys and data-led campaign execution, with the goal of driving engagement, retention and lead progression across the bank.
To work closely with colleagues across Growth Enablement to deliver timely, relevant and compliant communications, while learning and developing your CRM expertise within a regulated financial services environment.
You will always place customer interests at the centre of activity and act in line with the FCA and PRA’s Conduct Rules.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Email Marketing (Primary Focus)
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager in delivering the CRM and email marketing plan, including implementing the CRM marketing roadmap by translating agreed priorities into deliverable campaigns, journeys, and automation.
- Build, test and deploy email campaigns, nurture journeys and automated programmes using Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) as the primary platform.
- Manage campaign set-up including segmentation, personalisation, templates, landing pages and basic journey logic.
- Maintain and improve email templates to ensure brand consistency, accessibility and best practice.
- Support campaign QA, approvals and scheduling to ensure communications are accurate, timely and compliant.
Collaboration with Wider Digital Marketing
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist responsible for the website and organic and paid digital activity, ensuring CRM campaigns align with wider digital journeys and campaigns.
- Support the end-to-end delivery of integrated campaigns by coordinating CRM activity with website content, forms, landing pages and paid or organic digital activity where required.
- Monitor and report on CRM and email performance (e.g. opens, clicks, conversions), producing clear and actionable MI.
- Support continuous improvement by testing subject lines, content and journeys to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Help maintain data quality within CRM systems, working with colleagues to resolve issues and improve targeting.

Collaboration and Delivery
- Work with marketing managers and business teams to brief, deliver and review CRM campaigns and event communications.
- Act as a point of contact for CRM and email requests, advising colleagues on feasibility and best practice.
- Support integration between CRM activity and other digital channels, including website landing pages and forms.
- Contribute to documentation and guidance to help teams use CRM and email tools effectively.
Governance and Risk
- Support marketing approvals and Risk Control Assessment processes for CRM and email activity.
- Responsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and procedures.

Person Specification
Knowledge/Experience/Skills
Essential
- Substantial experience in a CRM role.
- Proven experience using a marketing automation or email platform, with Salesforce Pardot and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) is essential.
- Strong experience of client segmentation, journeys and lifecycle marketing.
- Experience building and sending email campaigns, including basic HTML editing and template management.
- Comfortable working with data and reporting on campaign performance.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Good written communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn and develop within a regulated environment.
