About The School / Service

The Commercial and Programme Delivery Directorate, led by the Chief Commercial Officer, sits at the heart of UEL’s strategic ambitions, bringing together expertise across commercial strategy, procurement, programme delivery, strategic transformation and business development to drive the University’s major initiatives and long-term growth agenda. Combining strong governance, oversight, and delivery capability with deep commercial expertise, the Directorate enables the successful delivery of UEL’s most significant and complex initiatives while also helping the University identify and realise new opportunities through strategic partnerships, innovative operating models, and diversified income streams. About The Job

The CRM Recruit Product Manager will play a key role in shaping and continuously improving UEL’s student recruitment and admissions experience through Ellucian CRM Recruit. Initially embedded within the Student Record System (SRS) Transformation Programme, you will support the successful implementation of CRM Recruit before transitioning into a business-as-usual product management role, driving ongoing enhancements, user adoption and operational excellence across the student recruitment journey.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Own the day-to-day management, configuration and continuous improvement of Ellucian CRM Recruit.
  • Gather, prioritise and refine business requirements into well-defined, sprint-ready user stories and manage the product backlog.
  • Configure and administer CRM Recruit, implementing enhancements to improve usability, efficiency and the applicant experience.
  • Support the successful delivery of the SRS Transformation Programme through configuration, testing, data validation, go-live and hypercare activities.
  • Collaborate with Admissions, External Relations, IT Services and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor product performance, data quality and user adoption, using insights to drive improvements across the recruitment and admissions journey.
  • Champion best practice, user engagement and training, ensuring colleagues maximise the value of CRM Recruit.

About You

You are an experienced Product Manager or CRM specialist with a passion for delivering exceptional digital experiences. You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, enjoy translating business needs into practical product improvements, and are confident working with enterprise SaaS platforms. Collaborative, analytical and user-focused, you thrive in fast-paced transformation environments and are motivated by driving continuous improvement and delivering lasting value for both colleagues and students.
