About the Role

The CRM & Web Specialist plays a key role within the marketing team, responsible for delivering engaging customer communications and optimising the digital experience across CRM and web channels.

The role will manage the day-to-day operation of the CRM platform and website, ensuring effective customer engagement, seamless user journeys, and data-driven optimisation. Working across the customer lifecycle, the CRM & Web Specialist will support key marketing objectives including brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, conversion, and customer retention.

Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Paid Media, Content, social media, Analytics, and Creative, the role will ensure that all digital touchpoints deliver consistent, relevant, and engaging experiences that strengthen customer relationships and support wider business objectives.

What you will do

CRM Management

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the CRM platform, including database management, data quality, audience segmentation, and campaign execution.
  • Plan, build, test, and deploy targeted email campaigns that nurture leads, engage customers, and support retention objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and optimise automated customer journeys and triggered communications based on customer lifecycle stages and behavioural data.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on CRM performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, engagement, and conversions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve CRM performance, customer engagement, and campaign effectiveness through ongoing optimisation and testing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure CRM activity is aligned with wider marketing strategies and business objectives.

Website Management

  • Own and maintain website content, ensuring it is accurate, up to date, on-brand, and optimised for a positive user experience.
  • Manage and update website content through the CMS, applying SEO, accessibility, and UX best practices.
  • Coordinate with designers, copywriters, developers, and other stakeholders to brief, create, and publish new web content.
  • Monitor website analytics and performance, identifying trends and providing recommendations to improve traffic, engagement, and conversion.
  • Ensure website content and functionality support wider marketing campaigns, promotions, lead-generation initiatives, and business priorities.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve website journeys, content performance, and overall digital experience.

Campaign & Cross-Channel Support

  • Support the delivery of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring CRM and website activity is aligned with campaign objectives and timelines.
  • Create and optimise campaign landing pages to support lead generation, engagement, and conversion.
  • Ensure CRM integrations and digital tracking are correctly implemented to enable effective campaign measurement and lead capture.
  • Work collaboratively with Paid Media, Content, social media, and other marketing teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
  • Maintain consistency in brand identity, messaging, and tone of voice across CRM, website, and wider digital channels.

Reporting & Insights

  • Produce regular performance reports covering CRM and website KPIs, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Use analytics platforms and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, CRM dashboards, and other relevant technologies, to monitor and improve performance.
  • Analyse customer and website data to identify opportunities for optimisation across user journeys, content, campaigns, and communications.
  • Support ongoing testing and experimentation to improve email performance, website engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates.
  • Translate data and performance insights into clear recommendations that support informed marketing decisions.

What do you need to be successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in CRM and website management, ideally within a digital marketing, e-commerce, or customer-focused environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Adobe Campaign, or similar.
  • Practical experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics, SEO, UX principles, conversion optimisation, and digital tracking.
  • Experience planning, building, and executing email campaigns and automated customer journeys.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
