This role offers an opportunity to build a career in conversion rate optimization while working with leading Ecommerce brands. You’ll partner with experienced CRO consultants, designers, developers, and clients to identify opportunities and turn insights into measurable improvements. The position combines analytics, experimentation, project coordination, client communication, and strategic thinking. You’ll initially support senior consultants while taking ownership of defined initiatives from discovery through delivery and review. As your expertise develops, you’ll progressively take responsibility for optimization roadmaps, client meetings, and account direction. Accountabilities:
- Work with senior CRO consultants to understand client goals, customer needs, website performance, and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify optimization opportunities through analytics, customer behavior insights, website reviews, competitor research, and industry analysis.
- Develop clear, evidence-based recommendations that explain the problem, proposed improvement, and expected business impact.
- Help build and prioritize optimization roadmaps by balancing potential impact, available evidence, business priorities, and implementation effort.
- Determine the most appropriate approach for each opportunity, including A/B testing, design improvements, development initiatives, or direct implementation.
- Own assigned initiatives from opportunity identification and briefing through implementation, quality assurance, launch, monitoring, and outcome review.
- Translate recommendations into actionable briefs and coordinate delivery across CRO, design, and development teams.
- Participate in client meetings and communication channels, providing updates, explaining recommendations, preparing agendas, and following up on agreed actions.
- Gradually take responsibility for leading client meetings, communicating priorities and results, and managing aspects of client relationships.
- Use analytics and user behavior tools to understand customer journeys, identify friction and unmet needs, and turn findings into practical next steps.
- Document results and learnings to strengthen future recommendations and optimization strategies.
- Progressively develop toward ownership of client accounts, including roadmaps, delivery priorities, strategic recommendations, and client relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
