Experimentation (CRO) Manager

Location: London, Hybrid
Salary: up to £50,000


This is an opportunity to join a growing digital optimisation business where experimentation, analytics, and customer insight sit at the heart of decision-making. You'll play a key role in shaping testing strategies, improving digital experiences, and driving measurable results for a diverse client portfolio.

The Role

You will lead and deliver experimentation programmes that help clients improve digital performance and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing experimentation and CRO strategies for client projects.
  • Building strong client relationships and supporting ongoing programme management.
  • Analysing user journeys and identifying conversion barriers using analytics and behavioural insight tools.
  • Designing, implementing, and evaluating A/B and multivariate tests using leading experimentation platforms.
  • Monitoring live experiments and delivering actionable recommendations to improve website performance.
  • Presenting findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
  • Supporting and mentoring team members while promoting experimentation best practice.
  • Keeping up to date with developments across experimentation, analytics, UX, and digital optimisation.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience within CRO, experimentation, digital analytics, or a related optimisation function.
  • Hands-on experience with experimentation platforms such as Optimizely, AB Tasty, VWO, or similar tools.
  • Experience using GA4 and digital analytics platforms to uncover insights and guide testing strategies.
  • Good understanding of UX principles, customer behaviour, and conversion optimisation techniques.
  • Knowledge of paid media channels and digital acquisition performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
