CRO Manager

London (Hybrid) - 2-3x a week

Up to £50,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CRO Manager to join a growing digital optimisation consultancy that combines experimentation, analytics, and customer insight to help clients improve digital performance. This role offers the chance to take ownership of client relationships, lead end-to-end experimentation programmes, and contribute to the growth of a high-performing optimisation team.

The Role

As a CRO Manager, you will play a key role in leading experimentation and optimisation programmes across a range of client accounts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering experimentation strategies that drive measurable business impact
  • Identifying optimisation opportunities through analytics, user research, heatmaps, customer feedback, and behavioural data
  • Designing, prioritising, and evaluating A/B tests and experimentation roadmaps
  • Presenting insights, recommendations, and strategic direction directly to clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborating closely with analysts, UX specialists, and developers to deliver high-quality optimisation programmes
  • Managing multiple client projects and balancing competing priorities effectively
  • Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior team members
  • Contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the wider experimentation function

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in CRO, experimentation, digital analytics, or optimisation
  • Experience working within an agency environment or managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
  • Experience presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to translate customer behaviour and analytics into actionable testing hypotheses
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting other team members
  • Familiarity with experimentation platforms such as VWO, AB Tasty, Optimizely, Adobe Target, Convert, or similar tools
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as GA4 and customer insight tools
  • Understanding of UX principles and customer behaviour
