Pacer
Pacer is a senior, embedded Shopify partner for mid-market and enterprise brands, operating across the UK and UAE. We give scaling merchants the depth of an in-house team across ecommerce strategy, insight, growth experimentation, design, custom development and integrations, POS, omnichannel loyalty, and internationalisation, without the cost or drag of building that capability internally.
We work with brands including The Body Shop, Universal Works, Stripe & Stare, Smart Salem, Innermost, Reem Mall, and more, delivering through two service lines:
BUILD: store development, custom engineering, and the technical foundations brands need to scale
GROW: our conversion and growth practice, where experimentation compounds into a durable advantage over time
We design for two audiences at once: the human shopper and the agentic layer now mediating discovery. As AI systems increasingly decide what gets surfaced and recommended, we make sure our clients' products and experiences are discoverable, desirable, and built to drive revenue in both worlds.
Through our Lab, we own and operate a portfolio of AI-embedded products built natively within the Shopify framework, tools we use to solve client problems and unlock growth that off-the-shelf solutions can't reach.
The Role
We're looking for a CRO Manager to own analysis and insight development end-to-end across our GROW retainer clients. You'll work closely with our experience team (design, technical solutions, delivery) to turn insight into shipped solutions that deliver incremental, compounding value, not one-off wins.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This isn't a role for someone who hands off a hypothesis and waits. You'll be accountable for the full loop: diagnosing where value is being left on the table, building the case for what to fix, and staying close enough to delivery to know whether a proposed solution is actually buildable on Shopify, or whether it's a nice idea that breaks on contact with the platform.
What you'll do
- Run end-to-end CRO analysis across multiple client accounts: funnel diagnostics, behavioural analytics, session recordings, and experiment design
- Develop insight into clearly prioritised, well-evidenced recommendations, using a structured diagnostic approach to conversion moments
- Partner with our experience team (design and technical solutions) to shape solutions that are grounded in what's actually feasible on Shopify: theme architecture, app ecosystem constraints, checkout extensibility, and Shopify Plus capabilities
- Own experiment design, prioritisation, and results reporting, feeding learnings back into a shared, compounding knowledge base rather than one-off test logs
- Present findings and roadmaps directly to client stakeholders, translating data into a clear narrative of value delivered
- Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesis, and reporting, and contribute to the internal products and workflows we build in-house to support the GROW practice
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in conversion rate optimisation, growth, or ecommerce analytics, ideally agency-side or in a senior in-house growth function
- Strong working knowledge of Shopify: you understand what's easily configurable, what needs custom development, and what simply isn't feasible within the platform's constraints
- Proven ability to run analysis end-to-end: from raw data and qualitative signals through to a prioritised, actionable roadmap
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with designers and developers to get solutions shipped, not just recommended
- Demonstrable AI fluency: you use AI tools as part of your own workflow (analysis, synthesis, reporting) and can point to how you've built or configured tools/products to support that workflow, not just used off-the-shelf chat assistants
- Excellent stakeholder communication, confident presenting insight and roadmaps directly to clients
- Self-directed and comfortable with remote, asynchronous working across multiple concurrent client accounts
