Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Manager – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL & Front-End Development Essential

A fast-growing performance marketing business is seeking an experienced CRO Manager to lead its Conversion Rate Optimisation function.

This is a hands-on role requiring proven CRO experience, strong front-end development skills, and commercial coding experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL. You'll own the CRO roadmap, build and analyse experiments, and deliver measurable improvements across multiple lead generation websites.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the Conversion Rate Optimisation roadmap across multiple websites.
  • Build and deploy A/B and multivariate tests using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Use SQL and analytics to identify conversion opportunities and measure results.
  • Analyse user behaviour and experiment data to improve conversion rates and lead quality.
  • Work with marketing, technical, compliance and creative teams to deliver testing programmes.
  • Prioritise experiments based on commercial impact and revenue.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) experience in lead generation or performance marketing.
  • Strong commercial experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL.
  • Proven front-end development skills with the ability to build test variations.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms such as Convert, VWO, Optimizely or similar.
  • Strong understanding of experimentation, statistical significance and conversion analysis.
  • Experience with tools such as Mouseflow, Microsoft Clarity or FullStory.
  • Analytical, commercially focused and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
