We are looking for a Crop Nutrition Agronomist GB to play a key role in strengthening the technical and commercial positioning of Yara's portfolio across Great Britain. Working closely with farmers, distributors, and key business stakeholders, you will combine deep agronomic expertise with strong commercial acumen to deliver customer-focused crop nutrition solutions that enhance productivity, profitability, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the agronomy function across Great Britain, acting as the technical expert for Yara's crop nutrition portfolio.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal sales teams, providing regular practical agronomic support and training throughout the season.
- Support sales teams with technical expertise and messaging for customer engagement, with a clear focus on key customer support aligned with commercial segmentation.
- Support the commercial and marketing teams in organizing targeted local events and strengthening partnerships with key business stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with farmers, grower groups, distributors, buying groups, and food value chain partners.
- Identify customer needs and translate them into agronomic and commercial opportunities that drive portfolio growth.
- Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams on product launch strategies and customer campaigns.
- Represent Yara at customer meetings, industry events, trade fairs, and field days.
- Provide coordinated agronomic and commercial support to selected key accounts.
- Lead and manage Great Britain agronomic trials programme in partnership with external contractors and research stakeholders.
- Translate trial results and agronomic insights into practical customer recommendations and commercial value propositions.
- Support marketing activities through technical expertise, including newsletters, articles, digital content, customer stories, and presentations.
- Drive adoption of Yara's digital tools and services with both sales teams and customers.
- Gather customer feedback and collaborate with digital and marketing teams to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Identify regional market opportunities and provide agronomic expertise to support commercial growth ambitions.
- Develop compelling product positioning and value propositions across Yara's portfolio, including biologicals, solid and liquid NS and NPKS products and our lower carbon offering.

Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Must hold valid FACTS and BASIS qualifications.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in agronomy, crop nutrition, technical sales, or a related agricultural role.
- Strong practical agronomic knowledge with a deep understanding of the main UK arable crops and production systems.
- Proven ability to apply agronomic expertise to support commercial objectives and customer value creation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
- Results-oriented with a proactive, self-starting approach and a track record of delivering business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident presenter with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences, including farmers, distributors, food companies, industry bodies, and internal sales teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
- Ideally based in Central or Eastern England to support customer and stakeholder engagement across the region.
- Eligible to work in UK.
