Job Opportunity: Radiographers - Cross-Sectional Scanning
The Radiology Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn is looking for enthusiastic Radiographers to undertake Cross-Sectional scanning in the CT and MRI departments.
About the Role
- Ideal Candidates: Individuals with expertise in at least one of the modalities.
- Training: The department may offer training in both areas if a strong candidate performs well at the interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional, high-quality, and responsive cross-sectional service to patients in a safe clinical environment.
- Undertake a wide variety of specialized CT and MR Procedures and examinations.
- Complete competency sign-off in both modalities.
- Undertake Cannulation training and acquire sign-off.
- Undertake PGD training assessment and sign-off.
- Manage workloads, authorizing and prioritizing radiological examinations as appropriate for clinical need.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing high standards of patient care, whilst following policies and procedures as specified by the radiology management team.

Work Schedule
The post holder will be expected to be flexible, covering a 7-day service, which includes out-of-hours (OOH) CT cover, and cauda equina syndrome in MRI.
