Cross Sell & Upsell Lead
Location:
Hybrid – primarily home-based, with flexibility to attend your nearest British Gas office when required
Hours:
Full-time, 37 hours per week
We're looking for a Cross Sell & Upsell Lead to join our team and play a key role in driving customer value and revenue growth across the Centrica Home portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity to influence commercial performance by identifying new opportunities, developing targeted customer propositions, and delivering data-led cross-sell and upsell initiatives. You'll work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Digital, Customer and Commercial teams to unlock growth, improve customer outcomes and support our wider business objectives.
The Role
As Cross Sell & Upsell Lead, you will:
- Lead the delivery of cross-sell and upsell activity across Centrica Home products, turning strategy into measurable commercial outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to grow customer value through new channels, propositions, offers and campaigns.
- Design and optimise targeted customer offers that align with customer needs, pricing frameworks and commercial objectives.
- Leverage customer and performance data to support segmentation, targeting and prioritisation decisions.
- Partner with Marketing, Digital and Customer teams to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively and on time.
- Monitor and evaluate performance, including conversion rates, revenue impact and customer penetration, using insights to continuously improve results.
- Ensure all activity complies with regulatory requirements, pricing governance and customer fairness principles.
- Provide insight, recommendations and updates to senior stakeholders to support future planning and decision-making.

What we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from colleagues who can demonstrate:
- Experience in a commercial, project management or customer growth role.
- Experience delivering change across customer-facing channels, including contact centres, digital platforms or CRM environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into practical actions.
- Experience developing and presenting business cases.
- A solid understanding of customer value drivers, including cross-sell, upsell and retention strategies.
- Awareness of the commercial and customer considerations within regulated industries (desirable).
- A basic understanding of pricing, propositions and customer journeys.
