About CrossFit Harrow
CrossFit Harrow is an established coaching-led CrossFit affiliate in Harrow, North West London. We’ve spent more than a decade building a community around good coaching, consistency, and long-term progress.
We deliberately keep our classes small and our membership capped because we want our coaches to actually know the people they are coaching. We are not an open-gym model; members come to us to be coached. Our approach is simple: Mechanics → Consistency → Intensity. We want people moving well, progressing safely, and enjoying being part of the gym for years, not just surviving another workout.
The Role
We’re looking for a coach to join our team initially for approximately 6–12 hours per week, with the opportunity for the role to grow. This could include:
- Coaching CrossFit group classes
- Supporting new members entering the gym
- Coaching beginner and Foundations sessions
- Personal Training opportunities
- Helping members develop skills, strength, and confidence
- Becoming a genuine part of the CFH coaching team and community
Who We're Looking For
You do not need to have coached CrossFit for 10 years. We care much more about the person.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You might be:
- An experienced CrossFit coach looking for the right environment
- A newer CF-L1 coach wanting to develop
- A Strength & Conditioning or Sport Science coach moving into CrossFit
- A long-term CrossFit athlete who has recently started coaching
- Someone looking for a few consistent coaching hours within an established affiliate
What matters to us is that you are:
- Coachable. You’re open to feedback and want to improve.
- Reliable. If you say you’re going to be there, you’re there.
- Humble. Coaching isn’t about showing members how fit you are.
- Good with people. Our members have different goals, abilities, and backgrounds. You need to be able to connect with all of them.
- Comfortable holding standards. Sometimes good coaching means telling somebody to slow down, scale something, or improve their movement before increasing intensity.
- Team-focused. We want coaches who contribute to CFH, support the wider coaching team, and care about the long-term success of the gym.
Qualifications:
Required: CrossFit Level 1 or higher
Desirable:
- CrossFit Level 2
- Level 3 Personal Training
- Strength & Conditioning qualifications
- Weightlifting, gymnastics, or other specialist coaching qualifications
