Cruise Sales Manager Needed Urgently!

My client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Cruise Sales Manager to join our professional team in West London to support the launch and development of its cruise representation activities in the UK market.

The role combines the introduction of a cruise client to further build the UK cruise sales portfolio. The position is structured around defined commercial objectives, with performance measured against agreed sales, market development, and relationship-building targets.

Salary: £35,000

Your Responsibilities:

Client & Trade Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, consortia, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Represent cruise products and commercial propositions in line with agreed positioning and partner sales strategies.
  • Conduct regular trade visits, structured meetings, and presentations to support sales performance and partner engagement.
  • Deliver product and sales training to enable partners to achieve agreed booking objectives.

Market Development & Portfolio Growth

  • Support the market introduction and commercial activation of new cruise clients in the UK.
  • Identify and pursue new distribution and revenue opportunities within the UK travel trade.
  • Develop and implement market development initiatives aligned with annual sales and growth targets.
  • Initiate and manage promotional activities, tactical campaigns, and trade events to stimulate demand.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the UK market for future cruise brand onboarding.

Sales Performance & Target Delivery

  • Develop and execute sales plans designed to achieve agreed revenue, booking, and market penetration targets.
  • Work closely with trade partners to implement promotions, incentives, and tactical sales initiatives.
  • Actively manage sales pipelines and forecast performance against targets.
  • Monitor sales results and take corrective action where required to ensure objectives are met.

About You

  • Strong understanding of the UK travel trade and cruise distribution environment.
  • Experience within the cruise industry/travel industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working with sales targets, KPIs, and performance-based objectives.
  • Proven ability to build and manage commercial relationships in a structured sales environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.
  • Results-oriented with a disciplined and proactive sales approach.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team with accountability for outcomes.
  • Commercially credible and confident, engaging with senior trade partners.
  • Willingness to travel regularly as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to conduct statistical reviews and analyse results.
  • Great interpersonal skills and a pleasant, outgoing personality.
