Our client is a leading dedicated data centre delivery partner, providing full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning. Headquartered in Dublin and delivering projects across Europe, they have built a reputation as one of the most trusted names in the sector.

An opportunity has arisen for a CSA Construction Manager on a major data centre project in Portugal. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing the delivery of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) work packages on a fast-track, highly technical project.

The successful candidate will be an experienced construction leader with a proven track record of developing and leading teams to deliver projects to the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

The Role

  • Lead and manage the CSA team (supervisors, engineers, and package managers) to ensure successful delivery of all CSA scope.
  • Oversee site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and Safety Team, embedding a strong culture of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental excellence.
  • Coordinate and monitor procurement, design, engineering, and installation of CSA works.
  • Develop a delivery strategy for CSA work packages, supporting the commercial team in preparing scope documents and subcontract packages.
  • Review client designs, identify discrepancies or deviations from standards, and lead resolution to protect contractual and commercial interests.
  • Work closely with QA/QC teams to develop and manage site quality plans, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, including subcontractor performance, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
  • Develop, manage, and report on project schedules in conjunction with Planning, Project Management, and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with the design team to prioritise and issue required construction information in line with programme demands.
  • Chair and host weekly progress meetings with CSA subcontractors, ensuring accurate documentation and records are maintained.
  • Attend project meetings (internal reviews, design coordination, planning, handover) and provide clear reporting to management.
  • Oversee project close-out activities including punch lists, safety files, QA documentation, and handover requirements.
  • Support commercial meetings, ensuring all variations are captured and communicated to enable accurate client change management.
  • Review drawings and setting-out information, and ensure coordination of builders' works drawings related to MEP services.
  • Prepare and issue daily and weekly project reports.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
