CSA Engineer
Location: Blyth, North East England

Project: £10bn Hyperscale Data Centre Campus
Our client is a leading international main contractor delivering some of Europe's most advanced hyperscale and mission-critical data centre developments. They are seeking an experienced CSA Engineer to join the delivery team on a landmark £10bn hyperscale data centre campus in Blyth, North East England.
This flagship development, one of the largest data centre campuses in Europe, will be delivered over the next decade and represents one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works, ensuring all activities are executed safely, to the highest quality standards and in line with programme requirements.
Working closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, subcontractors and client representatives, you will coordinate site activities, monitor construction progress and ensure all CSA packages are delivered in accordance with design intent, technical specifications and project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) packages throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality project delivery
- Review drawings, technical specifications and construction documentation
- Monitor programme progress and support recovery plans where required
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, quality standards and client requirements
- Coordinate interfaces between CSA, MEP, commissioning and other project disciplines
- Manage inspections, snagging, quality assurance and handover activities
- Support the management of RFIs, technical queries and design changes
- Identify construction risks and implement practical engineering solutions
- Attend coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates to project leadership
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements
- Support project planning, sequencing and delivery through to practical completion

Requirements
- Proven experience as a CSA Engineer on major construction projects
- Previous experience delivering hyperscale data centres, mission-critical facilities, pharmaceutical, industrial or large-scale commercial developments
- Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural and architectural construction
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, construction sequencing and project controls
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- CSCS card and SMSTS (or equivalent) preferred
