Permanent CSA Engineer Role working on a major Data Centre project

Job description:

  • Permanent CSA Engineer
  • Based in the North East of England
  • Competitive Salary
  • Options in Rotation
  • Accommodation paid by company
  • Generous weekly subsistence
  • 21 days annual leave, + bank holidays (8 days)

The Role:

Lead and coordinate CSA engineering activities from design through construction and handover, working with consultants, contractors and client teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar discipline
  • Experience working on Civil, Structural, and Architectural elements of construction projects
  • Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site practices
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and coordinate with subcontractors
  • Strong technical understanding of CSA construction methodologies
  • Experience in data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects is advantageous

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and coordination of CSA works throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review drawings and technical documentation, coordinate with project teams and subcontractors, and monitor site progress.
  • Assist with QA/QC, setting out, technical queries, RFIs, and the resolution of design and site issues.
  • Maintain project and safety documentation and attend site, engineering, planning, and coordination meetings.
  • Support commercial activities, including variations and progress claims.
  • Ensure compliance with Eurocodes and client standards.
  • Support handover and project close-out.

Ideal candidate:

Experienced Structural Engineer with major project experience, ideally in Data Centres, mission-critical or industrial projects.
