Teamforce Labour are currently seeking experienced Skilled Groundworkers for works in Oswestry, Shropshire, SY11.

You will be working with one of the UK's leading Civil Engineering contractors, carrying out a range of groundworks with a particular focus on snagging, finishing works, kerbing and grouting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out snagging and remedial works to a high standard
  • Kerb laying, edging and associated finishing works
  • Grouting and making good completed works
  • Concrete repairs and minor remedial works where required
  • General groundworks duties as instructed by the site team
  • Ensuring finished works meet the required specification and quality standards
  • Identifying and rectifying defects and outstanding items
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area
  • Working closely with site supervisors and other trades to complete works efficiently
  • Adhering to all site health & safety procedures

Requirements

  • Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – Groundworker NVQ Level 2 Diploma
  • EUSR (Water Hygiene) is essential but this can be arranged for you
  • Proven experience as a skilled Groundworker
  • Strong experience in snagging and finishing works
  • Competent in kerbing and grouting
  • Good all-round groundworks experience
  • Ability to work accurately and produce a high standard of finish
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper and/or Ride-on Roller would be beneficial
  • Full PPE
