About The Role

We are seeking an experienced C++ Software Developer to join our dedicated team at Ncounter Limited. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, low-latency data infrastructure systems that underpin our quantitative research and trading platforms. Your expertise will contribute to building scalable microservices responsible for processing, storing, and delivering vast datasets with utmost efficiency and resilience. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a proven track record in C++ development within a Linux environment. Specific qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in C++ software development
  • Extensive experience working with Linux operating systems
  • Proficiency in developing microservices and asynchronous multithreaded applications
  • Excellent debugging skills and expertise in performance optimization
  • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and best coding practices
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Responsibilities

As a C++ Software Developer at Ncounter Limited, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing high-performance microservices that handle large-scale data processing
  • Developing low-latency, scalable systems for processing, storing, and delivering datasets
  • Collaborating with quantitative researchers and data engineers to understand system requirements and translate them into efficient software solutions
