CSP Senior Manager – Deodorants UK

Business Function: CSP

Location: Sunlight House, Kingston

Work Level: 2B

JOB PURPOSE

Personal Care UK is a £546m turnover business and the largest business unit within Unilever UK. Within Personal Care, Deodorants is the biggest and most strategically important cell in PC6, with a turnover of £334m and a 55% value share. As category leader, our vision is to grow the Deodorants category and win market share every year, delivering >7% CAGR and strong gross profit development for the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute customer and category plans for Deodorants, across Male and Female, to enable delivery of commercial targets including turnover, market share and gross profit.
  • Represent the customer and channel in the S&OP process, performance-managing the short term forecast, including in month delivery.
  • Lead the Deodorants CD community, including CAMs and CBMs.
  • Partner with Category to ensure the customer and channel are represented end to end.
  • Own decision making for commercial trade-offs versus strategy.
  • Work cross functionally with CD, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Prior 2B experience in Customer Development UK is an essential prerequisite for this role.

Skills

  • Commercial acumen and the ability to create and execute channel strategy.
  • Skilled at evaluating commercial opportunities and selling ideas across the 6Ps.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders across CD and the BU.
  • Performance management and S&OP experience.
  • P&L management and a deep understanding of the UK customer landscape.
