Your Role
We are looking for a CSR Projects Manager.
Responsible for steering, coordinating, and monitoring all predefined CSR/ESG commitments.
Ensures the implementation of environmental, social, and societal initiatives outlined in the contract, monitors performance indicators, coordinates internal and external stakeholders, and contributes to the continuous improvement of CSR performance metrics as previously defined.
The Role Combines Two Key Dimensions
- CSR project management and deployment, from design through implementation;
- Operational support, aimed at assisting operational teams in monitoring and applying CSR initiatives on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
CSR Roadmap Management
- Deploy and monitor the contractual CSR action plan, including initiatives aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of operating units.
- Ensure compliance with commitments and objectives agreed upon with the client.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and propose new initiatives.
- Coordinate corrective action plans in case of performance gaps.
Reporting and Performance Monitoring
- Consolidate CSR data from the various entities involved in the contract and ensure data consistency.
- Prepare dashboards and reports for internal teams and the client.
- Monitor contractual KPIs.
- Configure and optimize reporting tools to improve data collection from users.

Stakeholder Coordination
- Lead and engage the network of operational CSR representatives involved in the contract.
- Develop and deliver CSR-related engagement activities for passengers.
- Work closely with Procurement, Production, Logistics, Quality, Sales, Marketing, HR, IT, and Operations teams.
- Coordinate interactions with external partners and non-profit organizations.
- Act as the primary day-to-day interface between Newrest teams and the client’s CSR representatives.
CSR Project Development
- Lead or contribute to projects related to:
- Food waste reduction.
- Improved waste management, recycling, and circular economy initiatives.
- Responsible sourcing and local procurement.
- Carbon emissions reduction.
- Sustainable management of natural resources, including energy and water.
- Inclusion, diversity, and employee wellbeing.
- Community engagement.
- Employee awareness, training, and education programs.
Compliance and Audits
- Ensure compliance of practices with contractual commitments and Group policies.
- Lead external assessments such as EcoVadis and Food Made Good within the scope of the contract.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in CSR/ESG project management or sustainability.
- Experience in the catering, transportation, or hospitality sectors is highly desirable.
- Experience managing key accounts is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Development and monitoring of performance indicators.
- Ability to understand and work with data analytics and reporting tools related to the food service industry. Knowledge of Youmeal is a strong advantage.
- Experience managing ESG/CSR questionnaires and assessments. Knowledge of Food Made Good and EcoVadis is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of climate-related issues, waste management, responsible procurement, and sustainable food systems.
- Basic knowledge of carbon footprint measurement and associated data collection and analysis tools. Familiarity with Tennaxia is a plus.
- Ability to coordinate multiple international stakeholders.
