ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a high-performing team where you'll combine hands-on consulting expertise with leadership responsibility to drive exceptional client outcomes and business performance. As an Assistant Team Manager, you'll support the Team Manager in leading, coaching, and motivating the team while helping to deliver operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong performer looking to expand their leadership capability, influence business growth, and contribute to a positive, high-achieving team culture. You'll play a key role in developing people, improving performance, and ensuring clients receive outstanding service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Team Manager in leading day-to-day team operations and business performance.
  • Assume full management responsibilities in the absence of the Team Manager.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and support client retention and growth initiatives.
  • Monitor and reduce service failures while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Meet and exceed business targets, SLAs, and key performance indicators.
  • Follow and promote One Best Way (OBW) processes and standards.
  • Conduct coaching, training, regular 1:1s, and team meetings to support development.
  • Foster team motivation, engagement, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Share knowledge and empower team members to achieve individual and business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with BDMs, Account Managers, and clients.
  • Support business development, implementation activities, and client retention strategies.
  • Increase profitability through portfolio growth, operational efficiency, and reduced write-offs.
  • Complete financial analysis activities and understand P&L impacts on the business.
  • Promote FCTG values, philosophies, and change initiatives within the team.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a consultant within FCTG (Essential).
  • Successful track record of performance (Essential).
  • Positive and open-minded attitude (Essential).
  • Willingness to adapt (Essential).
  • Leadership and coaching capabilities (Essential).
  • Leadership Level 1 / ATM Training (Desirable).
