As our CTO Procurement Systems Manager, you'll play a central role in transforming procurement across the business. From digitalisation and governance to data quality, reporting and AI-enabled solutions, your work will help create a more efficient, connected and future-ready procurement function.
The Opportunity
This is a strategic role at the heart of EDF power solutions' procurement transformation. You'll lead the development of procurement systems, governance frameworks and reporting capabilities, helping teams make better decisions through trusted data, improved processes and modern digital solutions.
Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role offers flexibility across our UK office network. Your contractual location will be Sunderland, Edinburgh, London, with hybrid working arrangements available. The role will require travel to offices across the UK, Ireland and France as business needs require.
You'll have the opportunity to influence major transformation programmes across the full procurement lifecycle, including Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Contract, Supplier Risk Management processes. Working closely with procurement leaders and stakeholders, you'll help drive innovation, continuous improvement and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI capabilities.

Who You Are
We’re looking for a CTO Procurement Systems Manager with a strong background in procurement transformation, systems implementation and organisational change. You'll be comfortable leading strategic initiatives, influencing stakeholders and delivering long-term improvements across complex business environments. To be shortlisted, you need to offer…
- Experience driving procurement transformation within a complex, multi-site organisation
- Experience leading people and delivering strategic procurement change programmes
- Experience implementing and managing systems across the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Contract (S2C) lifecycle, including Supplier Assurance and Risk Management.
- Strong procurement expertise with experience driving best practice, governance and process improvement
- Experience leading transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business benefits
- Experience influencing stakeholders and securing support for new ways of working across business functions
- Experience developing and delivering long-term strategic plans and outcomes
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading procurement systems, governance and data initiatives that support business transformation
- Managing and improving procurement processes, policies and governance frameworks
- Developing reporting capabilities that provide trusted and timely procurement insights
- Acting as the subject matter expert for procurement systems and supply chain data
- Leading system implementation and enhancement programmes across procurement processes
- Driving adoption of new technologies, digital tools and AI-enabled capabilities
- Supporting audit, compliance and risk management activities across the procurement function
- Providing leadership, training and guidance to procurement teams and stakeholders
- Collaborating with procurement leadership to deliver strategic objectives and continuous improvement
- Supporting sustainable procurement objectives across the business
