Job Details
The CTTP Programme Manager serves as Cubic's senior representative within the British Army Collective Training System (ACTS), embedded alongside OMNIA and maintaining close engagement with Headquarters Collective Training Group (CTG), Headquarters Land Warfare Centre (LWC), Army stakeholders, industry partners and wider defence training organisations. Acting as Cubic's embedded collective training domain specialist, the role provides the vital link between the customer environment and Cubic's UK Training business, ensuring customer priorities, emerging requirements, market developments and future opportunities are identified, understood and effectively communicated.
The position is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the operational, organisational and strategic factors shaping the future of collective training, including evolving capability requirements, training methodologies, future programmes and wider defence developments. Through extensive engagement with military, civilian, Ministry of Defence and industry stakeholders, the role develops trusted relationships that provide valuable insight into current activities, future priorities and the broader direction of the collective training community.
In addition to supporting the successful delivery of current programmes, the CTTP Programme Manager serves as a critical business development enabler for UK Training, acting as an early indicator of emerging opportunities, competitive threats and changing customer requirements. By translating operational understanding, stakeholder engagement and market awareness into actionable business intelligence, the role supports strategic planning, opportunity qualification, capture activities and long-term account growth.
Leveraging extensive collective training experience, strong stakeholder networks and a deep understanding of the defence training landscape, the post holder helps ensure Cubic remains a trusted partner that is well positioned to support customer outcomes, influence future requirements and pursue growth opportunities across the UK collective training domain. Success in the role depends on credibility within the customer community, exceptional relationship-building skills, commercial awareness and the ability to convert information and insight into meaningful recommendations that support both programme delivery and business growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
