Job Role
Are you passionate about helping people reach their potential? Do you believe that the right job can transform lives? We're looking for a dedicated Employment Specialist to support individuals with health support needs and learning disabilities on their journey into sustainable employment.
In this rewarding role, you'll manage a caseload of participants, providing personalised advice, guidance and practical support to help them overcome barriers, build confidence and achieve their employment goals. Every participant's journey is unique, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine and lasting difference while working in a varied and engaging role.
Working closely with referral partners, local services and employers, you'll develop tailored action plans, coordinate support and connect participants with opportunities that match their skills and aspirations. You'll also build relationships with local employers, promoting inclusive recruitment practices and supporting participants through interviews, job applications and into sustained employment.
We're looking for someone with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a positive and solution-focused approach, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range £33,500 to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of participants, providing tailored support to help them move into sustainable employment.
- Conduct assessments and develop personalised Action Plans to overcome barriers to work.
- Achieve performance, quality, compliance, and customer service targets.
- Build strong relationships with local employers and identify suitable job opportunities.
- Support participants with job applications, interviews, and in-work support.
- Work with partner organisations and specialist services to provide holistic support.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data protection and safeguarding requirements.
- Champion best practice and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience working in a target-driven environment.
- Experience delivering services against contractual and quality standards.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 applications and digital communication tools.
Desirable
- Good understanding of the local labour market.
- Knowledge of self-employment, employability, and recruitment sectors.
- Experience providing information, advice, and guidance to customers.
- Full UK driving licence.
