Are you passionate about driving cultural change and promoting inclusion? Do you believe in the power of diversity to create thriving communities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client Northamptonshire Police are seeking a Culture Change and Inclusion Manager to lead transformative initiatives across Northamptonshire Police and NFRS.

Purpose of the Role

As the Culture Change and Inclusion Manager, you will spearhead the successful implementation of cultural change activities, ensuring that the organisation meets its statutory obligations and fosters an inclusive workplace. Your contributions will be instrumental in developing and delivering effective DEI strategies, driving measurable improvements in workforce culture.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Northants Police and NFRS to advise and implement cultural change projects.
  • Develop and present evidence-based business cases to strategic audiences.
  • Work with the cultural change team to gather insights and create impactful initiatives.
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of the DEI strategy, monitoring performance and culture change impact.
  • Oversee the Senior Equality Officer, championing diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Support key projects within the people and culture agenda, capturing best practises and evaluating their impact.
  • Build strategic relationships and provide expert guidance to senior leaders on EDI matters.
  • Represent the organisation at regional and partnership events.
  • Organise conferences and workshops that promote positive cultural change.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree or equivalent in Leadership and Management, Project Management, or DEI-related fields.
  • Proven experience managing DEI strategies in complex organisations.
  • Current knowledge of DEI principles and the ability to advise senior leaders.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a positive attitude towards change.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to prepare and present high-quality reports.
  • A thorough understanding of the Equalities Act and practical experience in handling diverse situations.
  • High proficiency in computer literacy, including project management software.

PLEASE NOTE THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE TO UNDERGO POLICE VETTING AND THE CRITERIA FOR THIS IS THAT YOU HAVE RESIDED CONTINUOUSLY WITHIN THE UK FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION!
