Lead the Future of Technical and Defence Education

We are offering an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and inspiring Curriculum Lead to join the Defence Technical Excellence College (DTEC) and Air & Space Institute (ASI).

This is your chance to play a leading role within one of only five national Defence Technical Excellence Colleges, shaping and driving curriculum excellence across some of the UK's most exciting and strategically important sectors, including air and aviation, space, digital and cyber, and advanced manufacturing.

As a proven educational leader, you will bring a track record of outstanding teaching, successful curriculum leadership, and impactful quality improvement. Passionate about raising standards and improving learner outcomes, you will have the expertise and vision to drive excellence in teaching, learning and assessment. Experience within Further Education is highly desirable, particularly in engineering, advanced manufacturing, aviation or aerospace, enabling you to bring both credibility and industry insight to this nationally significant role.

Working closely with the Curriculum Director, you will:

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and inspire high-performing teams
  • Ensure learners achieve outstanding outcomes

You will play a pivotal role in shaping an innovative and industry-responsive curriculum, working in partnership with employers, industry leaders, and education professionals to equip learners with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in high-growth sectors.
