- Has proven leadership within a Sixth Form or college environment and is passionate about delivering an outstanding educational experience for young people.
- Knows what excellent teaching and learning looks like and can inspire and support colleagues to continually improve, with a clear focus on student outcomes.
- Has experience of A-level curriculum development, innovation and quality improvement, and enjoys finding new and better ways to help students succeed.
- Can create a culture of high expectations, aspiration, inclusion and continuous improvement, supporting both students and staff to thrive.
- Has a deep understanding of post-18 pathways and knows how to support students to progress successfully into higher education, apprenticeships or employment.
- Is able to work collaboratively across the Sixth Form and wider College, building strong relationships and bringing people together around a shared vision.
- Is genuinely ambitious for young people — not just for their academic success, but for their confidence, character, purpose and future lives.
- Wants to be part of shaping a growing Sixth Form within a university, helping us think differently about what Sixth Form education can be.
