Customer Account Coordinator
Location: Clifton
Salary: £32,800 - £38,700 per annum pro rata

At NCHA, we know that a safe and secure home starts with financial wellbeing. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Accounts Team, where you'll play a key role in supporting customers to manage their rent accounts, access financial support and sustain their tenancies.
The Customer Accounts Team provides a customer-focused and tailored income collection service, supporting customers to prevent and address rent arrears while maximising income for NCHA.
Working closely with customers to help them access benefits, manage household finances and sustain their tenancies through proactive support and early intervention.
About the role
As a Customer Account Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, providing administrative and customer support to the Customer Accounts Team. You'll help ensure customers receive an efficient and responsive service while supporting colleagues with account management activities and keeping accurate records.
This part-time role offers between 14 and 17.5 hours per week, depending on your preference, with working days covering Wednesday to Friday.

What you'll be doing
Working closely with Customer Account Coordinators, Customer Account Officers and Team Leaders, you'll play an important role in helping the team deliver excellent customer service and maximise income collection. This could look like:
- Responding to customer enquiries by telephone, email and other communication channels
- Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems
- Supporting customers with payment enquiries and directing them to appropriate support services
- Processing information relating to customer accounts and payment arrangements
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across NCHA to ensure customers receive a joined-up service
- Supporting the team to achieve service standards and income collection objectives
What you'll have
- Experience of providing excellent customer service in a busy environment
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and database systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands
- Experience of working effectively as part of a team
- A positive and empathetic approach when supporting customers
