We are looking for a talented Customer Account Executive to join our team specialising in Customer Service for Cummins Drivetrain & Braking Systems in Redditch, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Own the day‑to‑day management of assigned customer accounts, acting as the single point of contact.
  • Build strong, trusted customer relationships that drive satisfaction, loyalty, and long‑term success.
  • Take full responsibility for the end‑to‑end order life cycle, from order entry through to delivery, invoicing, and logistics documentation.
  • Resolve customer queries and escalations proactively, managing each case through to closure.
  • Partner with sales, production, planning, logistics, and finance teams to ensure on‑time delivery and effective issue resolution.
  • Represent the business in customer meetings, supporting account development and growth initiatives.
  • Monitor account performance and prepare reports, dashboards, and insights to improve customer experience and profitability.
  • Manage EDI processes and forecast‑versus‑delivery analysis to maintain smooth order flow and enable data‑led discussions.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • A strong customer‑first mindset, with the ability to manage complex, high‑volume order activity.
  • Confidence owning issues end-to-end and driving resolutions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Clear, effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in customer order management, customer‑facing roles, supply chain, logistics, or international trade.
  • Experience managing the end‑to‑end order life cycle for customer accounts.
  • Experience with EDI processes is preferable.
  • Additional language skills beyond English are advantageous.
