£30,000 Base Salary (OTE £45,000 - £60,000)
A personable and customer-focused Customer Account Manager with excellent relationship-building and communication skills is required to join a well-established, growing business operating within the waste management services sector.

The Role
As a Customer Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all account-related requirements. Your focus will be on building strong, long-lasting relationships, understanding each customer's needs and ensuring they receive the most suitable solutions and highest levels of service.
Alongside day-to-day account management, you'll proactively identify opportunities to introduce additional services, increase account value and improve customer retention. You'll work collaboratively with internal departments including Sales, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently, services are delivered seamlessly and any issues are resolved promptly.
Full training will be provided, with role expectations, KPIs and ongoing development discussed during your onboarding programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships through regular communication.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries and service requests.
- Identify opportunities to increase service utilisation and grow account revenue.
- Ensure customer queries and issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
- Liaise with internal teams to coordinate service delivery and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Process account changes and customer requests accurately.
- Monitor account performance and contribute towards customer retention and commercial objectives.
