Role Description

The Customer Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Middlesbrough. This role involves managing a portfolio of customer accounts, providing tailored support, and ensuring that customers fully understand their borrowing options and repayment plans. The Customer Account Manager will handle inbound and outbound communications, respond to queries, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records in line with regulatory requirements. They will monitor account performance, identify risks or opportunities, and take proactive steps to improve customer satisfaction and retention. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams to refine processes, support continuous improvement, and uphold Evlo’s commitment to responsible lending.

  • Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Support.
  • Proven Account Management experience, with the ability to manage multiple customer relationships effectively.
  • Excellent Communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a clear and respectful approach.
  • Solid Analytical Skills to assess customer accounts, identify trends, and support data-informed decisions.
  • Experience in financial services, lending, or a regulated environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site in Middlesbrough and collaborate in a team-oriented setting.
  • Attention to detail, good organisational skills, and confidence using CRM or account management systems.
  • Relevant education or training in business, finance, or customer service is an advantage.
