How you’ll power our business as a Customer Account Manager
Are you a commercially minded account manager who enjoys building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth and delivering exceptional service? We're looking for a Customer Account Manager to maximise commercial sales opportunities and enhance the customer experience through consultative selling, account management, cross-selling, upselling and new customer acquisition.
In this role, you'll balance customer retention and profitability by managing a portfolio of commercial customers, identifying growth opportunities and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Working within a quality-focused environment, you'll play a key role in exceeding customer expectations through professional communication, collaboration and outstanding service.

What you’ll be doing
- Managing a portfolio of commercial customers to maximise sales, retention, volume and margin growth.
- Building strong customer relationships through proactive account management and consultative selling.
- Handling inbound customer enquiries across multiple channels.
- Identifying and securing upselling, cross-selling and new business opportunities.
- Negotiating pricing to maximise profitability.
- Investigating and resolving customer queries and complaints.
What we’ll need from you
- Proven experience in telephone sales and consultative selling.
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven and organised approach.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
