Are you an experienced Account Manager with a background in manufacturing, engineering, or a technical environment? Do you enjoy building strong customer relationships, taking ownership of key accounts, and working closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding service?
Elevation Recruitment Group Business Support Team is working with a well-established manufacturing business in Livingston to recruit a Customer Account Manager, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of established customers and play a key role in their ongoing success.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who understands the demands of a manufacturing or engineering environment and wants to combine customer relationship management, commercial awareness, and operational coordination in one varied role.
The Role
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of key customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring customers receive a reliable, responsive, and commercially focused service.
Working closely with Sales, Production, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, and Logistics, you'll coordinate customer requirements, manage expectations, and resolve issues, ensuring commitments are delivered and relationships continue to grow.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of established customer accounts.
- Acting as the main point of contact for customer enquiries, requirements, and escalations.
- Coordinating orders, forecasts, and delivery schedules, ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams to resolve challenges and maintain service levels.
- Leading customer review meetings and monitoring performance against agreed KPIs.
- Supporting quotations, pricing activity, and wider commercial account management.
- Identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, strengthen relationships, and grow existing accounts.
- Maintaining accurate customer information, forecasts, and order data across ERP systems and customer portals.
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who have experience managing customers within a manufacturing, engineering, or technical business.
You could currently be working as a Customer Account Manager, Account Manager, Key Account Coordinator, Customer Service Manager, or in a commercially focused customer-facing role looking for your next step.
Requirements:
- Experience managing customer accounts within manufacturing, engineering, or a related technical industry.
- Strong relationship management skills and the confidence to deal with customers at different levels.
- An understanding of manufacturing operations, order fulfilment, production planning, or supply chain processes.
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities and manage customer expectations.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, communication, and delivering excellent customer service.
