Customer Account Coordinator
Ormskirk, Lancashire
Up to £28,000 per annum + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Hybrid Working Available
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm - Flexi scheme also available
Outsource UK are recruiting for a Customer Account Coordinator to join a well-established manufacturing business within the Architectural Glass sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional with SAP experience to join a busy Customer Services team, acting as a key link between customers and the wider order fulfilment process.
Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring orders are processed efficiently, deliveries are coordinated effectively, and customer queries are resolved in a timely manner.
The Role
As a Customer Account Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of customers, ensuring a high level of service throughout the order fulfilment cycle. You will work proactively to manage customer requirements, monitor ordering patterns, and help ensure products are delivered in line with agreed expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders from receipt through to fulfilment.
- Monitor customer ordering patterns and highlight any significant variations from forecasts.
- Process sales orders and customer transactions with a high level of accuracy.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, claims, product sample requests, and literature requests.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and communicate any changes to customers and relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate customer logistics and delivery information.
- Work closely with Sales and Market Planning teams to identify opportunities and support customer accounts.
- Ensure customer issues are escalated and resolved within agreed timescales.
- Raise and manage relevant documentation relating to orders and claims.
- Provide regular updates on customer supply status and recommend appropriate actions when required.
About You
- Previous experience in a customer service, customer account, sales support, or order processing role.
- Experience using SAP.
- Strong administration and data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach.
- Experience working within a fast-paced operational or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.

Salary & Benefits
- £28,000 per annum
- Hybrid working available
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Flexi-time scheme
- 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 days with service, plus public holidays
- Bonus scheme paying up to 10% of basic salary (subject to business performance)
