About The Role
The Customer Account Manager position in Cannock offers a salary between £28,000 and £30,000 per annum on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Customer Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing several key customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact from order through to delivery. Working closely with customers, the sales team and internal departments, you'll ensure projects run smoothly while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple key customer accounts on a day-to-day basis.
- Coordinate customer projects from initial order through to successful completion.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise regularly with customers, providing updates on project progress and delivery schedules.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues and the external sales team.
- Monitor and manage stock allocated to customer accounts.
- Identify and resolve issues quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to projects.
- Coordinate customer approvals for new product lines.
- Ensure clear communication across all departments to keep projects on track.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while meeting deadlines.

We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in project coordination, account management, sales support or customer service.
- An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Able to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, Excel and business systems.
