Customer Account Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sales team as a Customer Account Manager, where you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio of members. You’ll build strong relationships, support renewals and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling as we continue our rapid growth.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys taking ownership of their accounts, building trusted partnerships and turning customer relationships into commercial success.

With a growing customer base, an expanding range of services and uncapped commission, you’ll have real scope to grow your portfolio, increase your earnings and play an important role in our continued success.

We are proudly working with over 1,700 firms with technical training, practical tax support, practice management, marketing content and much more. We help firms grow their client base, advise their clients, expand their service offerings and prosper in the changing environment.

Role Description

As a Customer Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio of members, developing trusted relationships, driving renewals and uncovering opportunities to grow revenue through cross-selling and upselling.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience, while acting as a reliable and proactive point of contact for your customers.

Success in this role looks like strong customer engagement, high renewal rates, accurate and well-maintained CRM activity, and a portfolio of customers who value the relationship you have built with them.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar sales and customer relationship role, preferably B2B
  • Experience in maintaining high retention rates
  • Experience in building excellent customer relationships
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients
  • Ability to cross-sell/ upsell
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience in using CRM systems
