Customer Acquisition Specialist (B2B)

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland: On-site

Start Date: 24 August 2026, potentially moving to the second week of September

Salary: £30,000 base + uncapped OTE (realistic additional earnings of approximately £4,000 per annum)

Language: English: Native/Fluent

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

About the Role

We are hiring Customer Acquisition Specialists (B2B) to join a fast-paced team in Belfast, supporting a major UK telecommunications provider and its business mobile network services.

This is a new business and lead generation role, rather than a closing position. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with businesses, understand their current telecoms requirements, qualify genuine opportunities, and pass high-quality leads to the sales team to close.

If you're confident speaking with business decision-makers, enjoy asking the right questions, and are motivated by targets and uncapped commission, this could be a great opportunity for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Make outbound calls to business leads and engage prospects in structured qualification conversations.
  • Identify and understand each prospect's business mobile and connectivity requirements.
  • Qualify opportunities using the BANT framework: Budget, Authority, Need and Timing.
  • Establish:
    • Who the business currently has its mobile contracts with.
    • How many employees/devices require mobile services.
    • When the existing contract is due for renewal.
    • Who the relevant decision-maker is.
    • Whether there is a genuine business need and opportunity.
  • Build rapport with prospects and maintain professional conversations.
  • Handle initial objections confidently and appropriately.
  • Record accurate and detailed information in the relevant systems.
  • Pass qualified opportunities to the sales team for further progression and closing.
  • Work consistently towards activity, quality, and performance targets.
  • Follow established processes while maintaining a high standard of customer interaction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
