Customer Advisor (Career Grade) full-time
Starting salary £26,717 – 24 days annual leave
Would you like to work for an award-winning Local Authority? Do you enjoy a challenge? Does variety appeal to you? If so, we are looking for dynamic people to join our friendly Customer Solutions team. You will be answering telephone enquiries and questions on Council wide issues, using the latest IT systems. You will also assist with face-to-face enquiries in our main reception at our Argyle Road offices.
You will have a vision for excellence in customer care, be able to work as part of a team; have good IT skills and excellent communication skills (both oral and written). You will have a flexible approach to working, including working from home, after full training has been completed, as well as from our Argyle Road offices, showing perseverance and self-motivation. You will be part of a team who work on a shift rota covering telephone contact 8.30am–5pm Monday –Thursday and 8.30am – 4.45pm Fridays.

A positive and enthusiastic disposition is necessary as is the desire to handle and resolve customer enquiries in a constructive manner that ensures customer satisfaction. Previous contact centre/customer service experience would be advantageous, although full training will be given.
