Join one of the UK's leading motor retailers and become part of a team that puts customers at the heart of everything we do.

Due to continued growth and success, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Advisor to join our Contact Centre team at our Head Office in Team Valley, Gateshead.

This is a full-time position offering a starting salary of £26,436 with the opportunity to increase to £27,476 through experience and development.

You'll work a 5-week rota, with only 2 Saturdays in every 5 weeks and no Sunday working, helping you maintain a healthy work-life balance. Following your training and probation period, you'll also benefit from a hybrid working arrangement, giving you the flexibility to split your time between home and the office.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Customer Advisor, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive first impression for our customers. You'll be the first point of contact for many callers, helping them quickly and efficiently connect with the right dealership or department.

  • Handling inbound calls from customers and colleagues across the business
  • Providing a professional, friendly, and efficient customer experience
  • Accurately qualifying customer enquiries and directing calls appropriately
  • Using internal systems to ensure customer information is recorded correctly
  • Working as part of a busy and supportive team in a fast-paced environment

With up to 15,000 calls handled daily across the department, no two days are the same. You'll receive comprehensive training to ensure you have the confidence and knowledge to succeed in the role.

What We're Looking For

You'll Ideally Have

  • Previous customer service experience
  • An excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident IT skills
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced setting

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is motivated, customer-focused, and enjoys being part of a team.
