The Opportunity

We're looking for a Customer Analyst to join an established organisation and provide insight into customer behaviour, marketing effectiveness and commercial performance.

You'll work with large volumes of customer and transactional data, using SQL and Power BI to understand how customers engage, purchase and respond to different marketing activity.

The role will have a particular focus on loyalty, promotions and customer marketing, helping stakeholders understand performance and make better decisions around future activity.

You'll need to be comfortable working hands-on with data, but equally capable of taking complex analysis and turning it into a simple, commercially relevant story for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse customer and transactional data using SQL to understand behaviour, purchasing patterns and changes in performance.
  • Provide insight into loyalty activity, including customer engagement, frequency and purchasing behaviour.
  • Analyse the performance of promotions and marketing activity, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Explore different customer groups and understand how behaviours vary across the customer base.
  • Use customer data to support marketing decisions and improve understanding of customer performance.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting to track key customer and marketing measures.
  • Carry out ad-hoc analysis in response to commercial and marketing questions.
  • Identify meaningful trends and communicate the implications clearly to stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Commercial and other business teams to turn analytical findings into practical recommendations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
